چکیده

This paper proposes a clustered model reduction method for semistable positive linear systems evolving over directed networks. In this method, we construct a set of clusters, i.e., disjoint sets of state variables, based on a notion of cluster reducibility, defined as the uncontrollability of local states. By aggregating the reducible clusters with aggregation coefficients associated with the Frobenius eigenvector, we obtain an approximate model that preserves not only a network structure among clusters, but also several fundamental properties, such as semistability, positivity, and steady state characteristics. Furthermore, it is found that the cluster reducibility can be characterized for semistable systems based on a projected controllability Gramian that leads to an a priori H2-error bound of the state discrepancy caused by aggregation. The efficiency of the proposed method is demonstrated through an illustrative example of enzyme-catalyzed reaction systems described by a chemical master equation. This captures the time evolution of chemical reaction systems in terms of a set of ordinary differential equations.

FDMG: Fault detection method by using genetic algorithm in clustered wireless sensor networks

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) consist of a large number of sensor nodes which are capable of sensing different environmental phenomena and sending the collected data to the base station or Sink. Since sensor nodes are made of cheap components and are deployed in remote and uncontrolled environments, they are prone to failure; thus, maintaining a network with its proper functions even when und...

The Role of Regulatory in Price Control and Spectrum Allocation to Competing Wireless Access Networks

With the rapid growth of wireless access networks, various providers offer their services using different technologies such as Wi-Fi, Wimax, 3G, 4G and so on. These networks compete for the scarce wireless spectrum. The spectrum is considered to be a scarce resource moderated by the spectrum allocation regulatory (“regulatory” for short) which is the governance body aiming to maximize the socia...

An Ant-Colony Optimization Clustering Model for Cellular Automata Routing in Wireless Sensor Networks

High efficient routing is an important issue for the design of wireless sensor network (WSN) protocols to meet the severe hardware and resource constraints. This paper presents an inclusive evolutionary reinforcement method. The proposed approach is a combination of Cellular Automata (CA) and Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) techniques in order to create collision-free trajectories for every agent...
